A new era of fashion has dawned upon the industry, with digital fashion house The Fabricant leading the way. With its latest innovation, The Fabricant has brought back its 'Deep' collection, which it first launched in 2017. However, this time, it's using the power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to infuse new life into the collection.
The Fabricant was able to achieve this by processing data from Paris Fashion Week images in the computer and transforming the output into a 3D fashion collection. With advanced AI technologies like Midjourney and Stable Diffusion, the digital fashion house was able to create hyper-realistic designs and complete the latest Deep/23 collection. Seven of Deep's iconic looks, designed by Amber Jae Slooten, have been renewed in this latest collection.
These technological advancements were significant in ensuring that the virtual clothes were detailed, creating intricate designs that move beyond pixelated images. The Fabricant's "Deep" Collection is now available for purchase on the company's website, together with an option to try the outfits virtually through an AR lens.
As one of the pioneers in digital fashion, The Fabricant has set the pace for other companies in the industry. The company has been producing virtual fashion since 2018 and is based in Amsterdam. The Fabricant not only creates its virtual clothes but also does it for big brands and independent designers in the fashion industry.
"Mainly 'physical' fashion brands, whose collections we bring to life digitally," stated Adriana, the co-founder and CMO of the digital fashion company.
The future of fashion is digital, and The Fabricant has set its sights on being at the forefront of it all. With the use of AI in the creation process, the company has proven that it's a force to reckon with in the fashion industry.
